This past weekend I had the opportunity to do a group shoot down in Toledo, Ohio. It was a great time and a good experience. I was able to work with multiple models, and different photographers. This gave me an opportunity to build my portfolio and shoot different types of photography than what I have been shooting. The location was a cool old covenant that was huge and had a lot of cool detail and rooms to use for cool shots. It was what I would consider a very awesome spot for a photographer to shoot in! I was able to get some cool shots that I can now add to my portfolio and expand it into different types of photography.
I was thinking that this idea and concept of hosting a group photo shoot were a bunch of photographers and a bunch of models get together and help build each others portfolios and networks is a great idea. I think if I can get enough interest from local photographers to myself, maybe I will try and put something like this together and see if we can't do some of this more local as well. I think it would be a great opportunity to network and expand portfolios for both models and photographers. Two very important thing to do in the industry of photography and modeling. So, if anyone might be interested, let me know!
